Physical Media Swap Vol. 2
We’re back with the sequel to our very popular Physical Media Swap at the Revolution Taproom — a FREE 21+ event for collectors, movie nerds, crate diggers, readers, gamers, and anyone who still loves tangible media.
Bring your DVDs, Blu-rays, VHS tapes, CDs, cassettes, records, games, books, and more to swap with fellow collectors and media fanatics. Whether you’re hunting for cult classics, obscure titles, or just looking to clear a little shelf space, this is the place to be.
For this installment, we’re teaming up with our friends and neighbors @bricabracrecords & @thebrewed, who’ll be popping up with a killer shop of their own collection — plus bringing coffee, iced tea, and donuts for you to enjoy while you browse.
More than anything, this event is about community, discovery, and connecting with people who share the same love for analog media.
📍Sunday, July 26th, 12-4pm at the Revolution Taproom (3340 N Kedzie Ave, Chicago IL)

4 Year Anniversary: Psycho Goreman & Deathstalker Double Feature
The Brewed 4th Anniversary Celebration!
Prerecorded introductions from Director Steven Kostanski for both films!
PSYCHO GOREMAN (Dir. Steven Kostanski, 2020, 95 min, DCP)
Siblings Mimi and Luke unwittingly resurrect an ancient alien overlord who was entombed on Earth millions of years ago after a failed attempt to destroy the universe. They nickname the evil creature Psycho Goreman (or “PG” for short) and use the magical amulet they discovered to force him to obey their childish whims. It isn’t long before PG’s reappearance draws the attention of intergalactic friends and foes from across the cosmos and a rogues’ gallery of alien combatants converges in small-town suburbia to battle for the fate of the galaxy.
DEATHSTALKER (Dir. Steven Kostanski, 2025, 102 min, DCP)
In the Kingdom of Abraxeon, dark forces stir as the Dreadites, followers of the long-dead sorcerer Nekromemnon, threaten the realm. When Deathstalker (Daniel Bernhardt, JOHN WICK, THE MATRIX RELOADED) recovers a cursed amulet from a battlefield littered with corpses, he becomes marked by the darkest of magic. Hounded by monstrous assassins at every turn, he must break the curse and quell the rising tide of evil.
An electrifying sword-and-sorcery reboot of the Roger Corman-produced 1983 cult classic, Steven Kostanski’s DEATHSTALKER delivers epic battles, fantastical creatures, and legions of pulpy spectacle to satisfy fans of retro fantasy, horror, and pure cinematic fun. - Text Courtesy of Beyond Fest
